What hay costs in Nebraska
BaleWise tracks 76 hay listings in Nebraska, 41 with listed prices, checked October 26, 2026. Every price is the seller’s own, per bale, next to the size of bale it buys. Nothing is converted, estimated, or averaged into a number the seller never quoted.
Across prices from 31 sellers the asking price runs $3.50 to $125 a bale. No single bale size has prices from 6 sellers behind it here yet, so that range mixes sizes. Use the Size filter on the board to compare like with like.
Verdicts on the board above compare a listing against other Plains listings of the same bale size, at least 6 of them, or we don’t rate it at all. It is the same yardstick the region board uses, so a listing carries the same verdict on either page.
This board shows Nebraska only. Buying near a state line? The full Plains board includes sellers just over it.
